Shop the collectionCaroline Z Hurley
Artist and textile designer Caroline Z Hurley’s painterly patterns are playful yet subdued, and as captivating as the far-flung destinations that inspire them. With block prints created by a small team of artisans in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and patterns based on original artworks, her line is imbued with a handmade aesthetic that we love. Her soulful, deceptively simple compositions employ an economy of colors and feature loose, abstract designs that show the true hand of the artist.

Shop the collectionMarie-Anne Oudejans
East meets West in this extraordinary collection of textiles and wallpapers by Marie-Anne Oudejans. As longtime admirers of the Dutch fashion designer (who founded Tocca in the ‘90s) turned interior designer, Schumacher’s creative team leaped at the opportunity to collaborate with the force—and decorative painter—behind the dazzling décor of Bar Palladio in Jaipur, India. The result is a unique and imaginative collection that reflects Oudejans’s love of color and exotic floral motifs, as well as her appreciation for the simplicity and clean lines associated with Dutch design.
Shop the collectionFolly Cove
A dive into our archive led to the rediscovery of the Folly Cove Designers, a guild of women artisans who worked in Cape Ann, Massachusetts, and designed for Schumacher during the 1940s and ’50s. The mostly self-taught designers produced charming, unpretentious designs that were first sketched and carved into linoleum blocks, then hand-printed onto textiles and other materials. Largely inspired by their New England surroundings, the group was known for cheerful, picturesque scenes from country life and a flat, folksy aesthetic. We are thrilled to revive some of their wonderful patterns in Folly Cove, a collection of printed textiles and wallcoverings that are as appealing today as they were when Schumacher introduced them more than half a century ago.
