We are incredibly proud of our first collaboration with Los Angeles– based painter, illustrator and designer Abel Macias. Inspired by the artist’s Mexican heritage and love of desert landscapes, this truly magical collection of textiles and wallpapers features rich hues, vivid patterns and playful imagery. Unexpected color combinations, graphic forms and a painterly aesthetic make these designs wonderfully unique and intriguing additions to a space.
Charlap Hyman & Herrero
Charlap Hyman & Herrero (CHH) is a New York and Los Angeles-based design firm that takes a fully integrated approach to conceptualizing and executing spaces in their totality. They aim to create spaces that become worlds unto themselves.
Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece
London-born Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece is known for her global children and lifestyle brand, Marie-Chantal. She's honed her artistic sensibility and passion for design throughout her years of study in Hong Kong, Switzerland, France, and New York. Schumacher is thrilled to partner with Marie-Chantal on her collection that celebrates the innocence of childhood with sophistication and European flair.
Peg Norriss
Style leaders and taste makers in their respective fields, interior designer Barrie Benson and gallerist Chandra Johnson have joined forces to create the visionary company Peg Norriss. Together, Benson and Johnson partner with exceptional contemporary artists to translate singular creative works into chic, showstopping wallpapers that elevate any room. Peg Norriss wallpapers are available exclusively through Schumacher.
Mary McDonald
Mary McDonald is an award-winning, internationally-published Los Angeles-based interior designer. She has a diverse portfolio of fabulous printed and woven designs that elevate any living space.
Celerie Kemble
Celerie Kemble, a is a principal in Kemble Interiors, a design firm founded in Palm Beach by her mother, Mimi McMakin. Her elegant and colorful approach to design create thoughtful interiors that "put the person in the place."
Clements Ribeiro
The London fashion label Clements Ribeiro is the design partnership of Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro. The brand reflects their strong synergy: Clements is British, intuitive and dynamic; Ribeiro is Brazilian, articulate and introspective. Eclectic and feminine, the Clements Ribeiro style is a direct reflection of such a mix, Their capsule collection for Schumacher is undeniably dynamic.
BACKDROP
Created by husband-and-wife duo, Backdrop is the award-winning paint brand acquired by F. Schumacher & Co. in 2021. Backdrop brings a fresh perspective to wallcoverings. Patterns are based on artworks handmade in their Los Angeles studio and are proudly Certified Climate Neutral. In partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), support to displaced refugee families is given with a portion of each sale.
Vogue Living
Anna Wintour once said, "Create your own style… let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others.” For our Vogue Living collection, we worked with legendary Vogue editor Hamish Bowles to produce the prettiest fabrics and wallcoverings that capture the romance of English style. We created a collection that pays homage to some of the great tastemakers whose instincts for fashion, style and interiors have shaped the look of Vogue through the decades.
Hadiya Williams
Hadiya Williams is an art director based in Washington, DC focusing on boutique events and spaces. After over 15 years' experience in graphic design, Hadiya founded Black Pepper Paperie Co. in 2017 and has since expanded her art and design practice to include pottery, surface, design, and visual art. Her aesthetic is inspired by the depth of Black culture across the diaspora, and her collection was inspired by Williams’ focus on themes of genealogy, lineage and home.
